I found food on Shoz Meyl to be very ordinary. The 'restaurant' car was privatised to BJ's fast food, I don't know if this is still the case.

No thank goodness BJ's is gone. The Dining Car is run by Shoz Meyl now. When I went from CT to George we BJ's. Everything was plastic and cardboard although food cheap and tasty. Not 5 star.

The decor was put on to mark the special trains used to take soccer fans to the Confederations Cup for free.

I have been on the Soweto Business Express to Naledi, Soweto and back twice. Yes there aren't many whites travelling to Soweto. The Pretoria to Park Station line is a different story. The Tshwane/Gauteng Business Express is very busy and many whites use this service. At about R30 per day it is a dream compared to going by car. Last I heard that it is difficult to get tickets as they are filled by season ticket holders.

I can see the soccer world cup being a success. METRORAIL- Taking the WORLD to the WORLD CUP. Or something like that...Here in Sydney CityRail has started using exterior self promo advertising on the windows, to promote the new timetable which comes later this year.

Business expresses only makes four return journeys per day in peak time. The other sets are supposed to be of such a standard that anybody can use them at any time without feeling like a parrot on the north pole. LIKE THEY ARE IN THE CAPE!
