Our Mothers Day train on 9th May 2010 was marked by long delays due to signals and infrastructure work which meant 3117 spent a lot of time just standing.

- Many of the TFR staff climbed up on the footplate at Rayton and were very interested in the workings of a steam loco. Many commented on the historic value of it. This lady from TFR Infra wanted a turn at the shovel.
