Progress is coming along slowly......
A problem I ran into I had to solve with an unexpected bridge. The one curve I made with the polystyrene risers was too tight for either of my 4-8-4's ( red arrow ), so I softened the curve by taking a shortcut over the future river. I was only going to have one bridge there, just a dark red girder bridge with a Brit blockhouse next to it.
Now I make sure that the tightest curve anywhere is 9 3/4" radius.
