I like Pacers! I think they got an undeserved bad reputation, considering what they were and what they were designed for. And they've given sterling service for nearly 40 years, even if they don't have wifi and other modern luxuries.Northern's new fleet of trains are less reliable than the heavily-criticised Pacers they replaced, figures show.
