The Irish Mail at Crewe featuring 45231 shunting 47614 into Platform 10
Saphos operated the Irish Mail charter from Worcester to Holyhead. 45231 replaced 47614 at Crewe as planned but was also used to shunt the 47 into Platform 10. Not often we see a steam loco shunting a diesel on the mainline.
