Whilst I have not been keeping a regular log of visitors to our main website, I note that the number of recorded hits has, during December 2008, crossed the 500 000 boundary; today standing at nearly 516 000 hits since its inception in its current form! I know the hit register was about 490 000 early in that month. From my extrapolation that means that at least 20 000 visitors have hit the site during the last month.
This means that the website is frequently visited be a wide audience and has certainly been a real success in our marketing arsenal.

Well done, Steve! This gives some idea of the visibility and coverage of FOTR. I think we're becoming a significant player on the internet in the field of heritage rail.
