Large format, and lots and lots of stunning colour phots, which are a real eye opener - imagine great artisitc photos of signals!!!!! True - they exist!
The book cover the hisory of, and contemporary signalling practice - not in great detail, but in enough detail to let the reader know what goes on and how the U.S. system works.
Easy and entertaining to read!
A must buy for U.S. and Signal fans! Expensive locally, but reasonable from amazon.co.uk or The Book Depository (UK)
