33-400 at Beaconsfield

Post by Jez Smith »

Hi all,
Here's another for you. Class 33-400 no. 33-494 resting at Beaconsfield yard on July 6th 2007. I was deeply upset that I couldn't hear it's GE prime mover in action, as the GE manufactured locos sound far better than the EMD variants - this goes for the class 34s and Class 35's as well, in my opinion. Just like the EMD Class 59s and 66s in the UK, they sound a little 'whiney'.

Thanks for looking
