It was a real bonus to get two of them working the Cape Town - Johannesburg "Premier Classe" train, seen here passing the home signal at Suurbekom.

6E1s on Premier Classe by Eugene Armer
FOTR member Eugene Armer has got a great picture of a pair of 6E1s hauling the Premier Classe onto the prestigious RailPictures.Net website. Well done, Eugene.

Stunning Photo. They have to be 500% perfect before any photo gets published. Call me old fashion but I still prefer the old red or blue livery with the yellow stripes. Pity the plates are missing. I see the Union Carriages plate is still on the Front Door
