David Shepherd's 15F 3052 has received a once-over, with some repairs and a bolier washout done. She has a 2 year certificate. She will be hauling Richard Niven's old 25NC 3488, which has been cosmetically restored, along with the DE2. Some coaches are going too, presumably the sitters and bar coach which were used on the runs to Kommandonek last year-ie 4 coaches. The whole consist will leave on Saturday morning at 6am and run to Bethlehem and Kroonstad. After overnighting there, TFR will provide traction to haul the consist to Germiston, as this is a main line and despite minimal traffic they insist on not allowing steam haulage here.
