A different location for a wedding shoot. I am sure 99% of brides would not agree to that.

Fortunately I got my bride to agree a couple of years ago - see http://www.friendsoftherail.com/phpBB2/ ... .php?f=170!

I disagree. USR regularly has wedding parties at Inchanga station for a photo shoot with a railway theme. Heck, we even had a wedding at Inchanga where the guests rode the train to Inchanga and the couple were married in the gardens at Inchanga.

I will say, that was a brave bride relying on a steam loco to get her to her wedding on time!

I have someone at the moment who asked about a train wedding and for a quote. And she is not a train buff!

Brendon that's different. The setting there is so magnificent, steeped in History. I am sure if Matjiesfontein was closer to Cape Town, they would have plenty of weddings with the station been an excellent venue.
