Cooke Tour to Rooiwal-Part 1
On 2 June, FOTR entertained the Geoff Cooke tourgroup. Having been forced to abandon the troubled Cullinan line, we managed to get permission to go to Rooiwal Power Station, just north of Pretoria. This was our first visit here in 3 years- and it was well worthwhile. Pax got a nice train ride, a tour of the station, a tasty braai and some fab pics!
