The side tunnel area of the mechanical stoker drive shaft, seen filled with coal. Upon clearing this out it revealed two large holes. This resulted in new metal panels being made to close up. <br /><br />Jan 2007

Once the coal had been cleaned out of the tunnel area under the bunker, some holes were revealed, and had to be patched up. A new plate was shaped and fitted. Note the modifications to the tender to enable maximum usage of coal. The angled plates have been fitted to guide more of the dead area coal into the trough.<br /><br />May 2007
