RIP Miemie's dad

I heard yesterday that stalwart FOTR member Miemie Wolmarans has lost her father. Some will recall that he was an old steam driver who once drove GOs out of Lydenburg. A sad passing of another great man of steam. Miemie, you have our condolences.

I did not know the Dad, but do know Miemie. I'm sorry for your loss. Hope to see you at Capital Park soon again?

Miemie, sincere condolences from Jane and me. You are in our thoughts and prayers. I met your dad a few times on FOTR trips.
