In 1985, while in U.K., we decided to "do" all the Welsh lines. But, after visiting Bala Lake, we arrived at Ffestiniog and felt so welcomed by the Boston Lodge men that our remaining time of 4-5 days was spent on this great line. Apparently the Celtic Welsh don't like the double "f" but that is the railway's name.
