Rationalisation of railway assets. The lifting of unused tracks is now taking place along the line to Witbank. Viewed from the train is the approach to the platform loop line at Rayton, now disconnected and ready for lifting.

The 15F in the background takes the curve on the branch to Cullinan, whilst the red banner protects the adjacent line, as the track crew remove the points from the platform loop line at Rayton. The sidings on the opposite side of the station are to be lifted as well.
