Trainman's Party

It is not known how old Trainman is now, but he is way on the wrong side of 50.
As usual a motley collection of arty types, Punks, Goths, Bikers and Flower Power specialists descended on Hermanstad to celebrate his birthday. A live band warmed things up before departure, and then the drummers took over together with much singing and dancing. At Pretoria North a flag dancer entertained the passengers. It is certain that this little borough of Pretora has not seen this sort of show before!
At the end of the day, the traditional "cutting of the cake" under the loco wheels took place. As is also customary, Nathan got to eat the sandy greasy material that emerged from 2650's wheels, and the rest was smeared in his hair.
A monstrously good time was had by all!!!
